The Immortalized Pig Aorta Cells – SV40 are endothelial cells derived from porcine aortic tissue. The cells were immortalized in the presence of replication-incompetent lentivirus carrying the SV40 antigen. This cell line is valuable for studies for porcine aorta tissue and xenotransplantation. Real Time PCR was used to quantify SV40 gene expression in immortalized cell line.
