| Full Information |
KBDC-11 Cells are isolated from a pancreatic head and perihilar cholangiocarcinoma patient with intraductal papillary neoplasm of the bile duct (IPNB). The cells require a mouse feeder layer of PA6 cells to be grown to form colonies. Cell grafts of KBDC-11 Cells fomed subcutaneous tumor on injection site, but metastatic tumors were not detected. A valuable model for IPNB-related research such as carcinogenesis, and moleular biological mechanisms.
