Estrogen-related receptor-α (ERRα) are endogenously expressed in HEK293T cells. With this consideration, HEK293T cells were transfected to express PGC-1α and the AAB-Luc reporter to make the PGC-1α/ERRα Stable 293T Cell Line.The PGC-1α/ERRα Stable 293T Cell Line was created to examine the PGC-1α/ERRα function. The PGC-1α/ERRα axis has been associated in cellular pathways and pathologies (including metabolic syndrome, diabetes, obesity, cancer, and heart disease etc). The PGC-1α is a coactivator of ERRα , and the activity of the activation may be measured by the transactivation via the AAB-Luc reporter. This cell line is recommended for use in analyzing the activity of the PGC-1α/ERRα axis and the effects caused by chemicals for drug-development studies.
