Dulbecco's Modified Eagle Medium (DMEM) ,High Glucose (TM500) + 10% FBS + 2 mM L-Glutamine (G275) + 1% Penicillin/Streptomycin Solution (G255) ,37.0°C ,5% CO₂. 1.0 µg/ml Puromycin (G264) for selection. COS-7 cells engineered to stably express the HLA-B18:01 antigen are essential for presenting viral peptides to cytotoxic T-cells. Developed through retroviral transduction, this cell line was validated using flow cytometry. It does not require antibiotic selection and is ideal for studying HLA class I molecule interactions, immune response mechanisms, and the role of HLA-B18:01 in viral immunity and disease progression.
