Progerin (PG) or Lamin AΔ50, occurs in Hutchinson-Gilford Progeria Syndome (HGPS) or Progeria – a disease characterized by accelerated aging. The 3T3L1-PG cell line stably expresses human PG in mouse 3T3L1 pre-adipocytes. Gene delivery was confirmed through immunblotting using an anti-LMNA/C antibody. The cell line is useful for investigations related HGPS associated lipodystrophy.
