This immortalized articular cartilage condrocyte (NiAC) cell line (Cat. T0384) is derived from normal (non-osteoarthritic) donor tissue. It can be used in combination with the immortalized articular cartilage condrocyte (OA iAC) (Cat. T0385) derived from an osteoarthritic patient as in vitro model of osteochondral regeneration and disease. The chondrocyte cell lines form three-dimensional aggregates when subjected to the hanging drop method. Furthermore, the aggregates present an extracellular matrix containing collagen.Complete list of cell lines from this panel: Cat.
