PriCoat™ T25 Flasks (G299) or Applied Cell Extracellular Matrix (G422) are recommended for optimal cell culture. PriGrow III (TM003) + 10% heat-inactivated FBS + 1mM Sodium Pyruvate (TM057) + 10mM HEPES (TM058) + 1X Non-Essential Amino Acids (TM068) + 1% Penicillin/Streptomycin Solution (G255) ,37.0°C ,5% CO₂. Note: Cells are sensitive to trypsin; Gentle Dissociation Solution (TM080) is recommended for subculture procedures. |

The primary cells were derived from mouse ear pinna tissue and immortalized with SV40. These cells may be used alongside Immortalized Rhett mouse fibroblast cell line with R255X mutation (iETF-Mecp2-R255X, T0870) and/or Immortalized Rhett mouse fibroblast cell line with R294X mutation (iETF-Mecp2-R294X, T0871) to study the effects of the mutations.
