5% CO₂. Note: cells are better at >80% confluency; cells do not grow well if too sparse. These stable lines were developed to have tet regulatable expression (tet-off); stable expression can be maintained with Hygromycin B (200ug/ml) and G418 (200ug/ml).

This cell line stably expresses the disease related mutant (Ala53Thr) of alpha-synuclein (α-synuclein) under tetracycline regulatable expression (tet-off). Therefore, it is useful for studies investigating the role of α-synuclein in Lewy body formation and the development of related neurodegenerative diseases.
