The NFAT-luc-CMVH Stable RAW264.7 Cell Line is a genetically engineered version of the RAW264.7 murine macrophage cell line, which stably expresses a luciferase reporter gene under the control of the Nuclear Factor of Activated T-cells (NFAT) promoter, combined with a cytomegalovirus (CMV) enhancer. This cell line is an essential tool for investigating the activation of NFAT, a key transcription factor involved in the regulation of immune response and in the development of T cells. The luciferase reporter allows for the real-time, non-destructive quantification of NFAT activation by emitting bioluminescence in response to calcium signaling, making it highly suitable for drug screening and cellular communication studies. This cell line is particularly useful in studies focused on understanding the dynamics of macrophage activation and the cellular mechanisms underlying inflammatory responses.
