This cell line stably expresses Prrc2a (Proline rich coiled-coil 2 A) – involved in oligodendrocyte specification and myelination- and bind to m6A. The protein has been implicated in OPC proliferation and oligodendrocyte fate determination. This cell line is a useful model for understanding the role of Prrc2a in the nervous system and for the development of effective therapeutic strategies for myelination-related disease processes.
