C2C12 Cells (GFP1-10 Clone) was established through transfection of retrovirus vector to carry the first to the tenth β-strands of GFP. The cells express GFP once myofusion occurs. It is a valuable tool along with the C2C12 Cells (GFP11 Clone) (Cat. No. T8004) as they function as a split GFP-based assay to evaluate compounds that promote myofusion and myogensis, and to study the diseases related to muscle loss such as muscle atrophy.
