COS-7 cells were genetically engineered to stably express the HLA-A01:01 antigen, which plays a critical role in antigen presentation and T-cell activation, via retroviral transduction. HLA-A01:01 expression was validated using flow cytometry with the HLA-A*01:01 marker and is maintained without antibiotic selection. This cell line is valuable for immunological research, particularly in studying antigen presentation, T-cell interactions, and immune response modulation.
