The cell line was established from primary lung tumors that developed in a KRAS-G12C mouse line (B6;129S4- Krasem1Ldow/J mice were crossed with B6.129P2-Trp53tm1Brn/J mice) following bronchial instillation of a Cre- expressing adenovirus. The cells express no drug-resistance genes and exhibit sensitivity to MRTX-1257 and AMG-510. Cells readily form othrotopic lung tumors in C57BL/6 mice. This cell line is a suitable model for research regarding therapurtics involving KRASG12C inhibitors. This cell lines is fully resistant to puromycin.
