Fusing a kinase domain to a homodimerization domain such as the PNT domain of ETV6 can result in activated kinase. The MATK Stable Ba/F3 Cell Line expresses activated human MATK tyrosine kinase that is linked to a GFP reporter (GFP-ETV6-MATK in SED2 vector). Even though this cell line expresses activated tyrosine, it is non-transforming, meaning that the cells still require IL-3 to grow. This cell line carries the SED2 vector which does not have any selection markers.
