This PDL8 HUVEC cell line was developed through the introduction of pre-miR-216a into PDL8 HUVECs via recombinant lentiviral vectors, leading to a stable genetically modified line characterized by increased expression of miR-216a, which has been implicated in endothelial senescence and inflammation.
