The APOA1 Expressing HepG2 Stable Cell Line (HepG2-WT-ApoA1) serves as a robust in vitro model to study the normal physiological processes mediated by the wild-type Apolipoprotein A-I (ApoA-I), a key protein in lipid metabolism with antiatherogenic properties. This cell line mimics healthy liver cells’ conditions by maintaining typical ApoA-I expression and secretion levels. Researchers can use this model to investigate ApoA-I’s protective functions against cardiovascular diseases and its role in cholesterol metabolism and high-density lipoprotein (HDL) functionality.
