Grasp65 knockout in HeLa cells was performed using CRISPR/Cas9 genome editing and verified with immunofluorescence, Western blot, and genomic sequencing. The GRASP knockout cell panel is a useful tool to study the role of GRASP55 and GRASP65 proteins in other important cellular processes. GRASP55 or GRASP65 single-knockout showed partially impaired Golgi cisternal stacking, whereas double-knockout of both GRASP proteins disassembled the entire Golgi structure.Complete list of cell lines from this panel:Cat.
