LIMD1 knockout was conducted via CRISPR to establish the LIMD1-/- CRISPR Stable Knockout HeLa Cell Line. LIMD1 is an adapter or scaffold protein and is required for silencing of microRNA (miRNA)-mediated genes. However the function and mechanism for the gene is poorly understood. This cell line may be used to study the functions and roles of LIMD1.
