These HEK293 cells stably express mutant Ubiquinol-cytochrome c reductase (UQCRB). These cells have higher proliferative activity than wild-wype HEK293 cells. Cells were transfected with UQCRB mutant expression vector and protein expression was confirmed through western blot analysis. This cell line is suitable for studies investigating the biological functions of UQCRB in angiogenesis and colorectal cancer biomarkers.
